I would say this guy was giggling each step the silliness of it.

Crikey, you're not very good at giving checkmate!

Rsava

Made you waste your time, didn't they. Would have been funny as #$#@ if you had stalemated him.

I believe your opponent's desire to prolong the game by not resigning could be construed as a form of disrespect because of his or or rating.  However, your choice of checkmate, also took more of your time.  Perhaps checkmate with rook and king would have been a more a sweeter kill and save you time.  This one just popped into mind.  When you're one move from checkmate, let your clock drag down to 5 seconds and then apply the finishing blow.  Who knows, he or she might resign then, lol.

i usually do this, dont worry :P most cases they will resign as they notice how ridiculous it is to not surrender when you are one move away from mate.

RookSacrifice_OLD

LOL this is awesome! Someone I know did this at a local tournament, it was so funny!

ThePEPSIChallenge

the point is if you had gotten a Queen you would have not had him be silly

less moves for sure

only needed 1 Q

his 40th move should've gone after your advancing pawns.

were you to have then moved down your pawn beside King he then after it, grabbed it and had your other advanced ones.
