Those...aborting players

Anybody else find this a mite bit frustrating at times? I mean sure, maybe that guy needed to use the bathroom, his girlfriend came over, work, school, eating...yet I know, though I can't prove it, that many of them, if they win, just make the assumption that you (*cough*) are not that great. Perhaps this isn't the case, but it is frustrating for me, who is currently in a rutt and dropped 250ish points, to have players 1300 and above abort constantly simply because I am rated around 1170.

Or how about the ones that abort and ask for a rematch because they didn't get "their color"? -sigh- It hurts, it really does. Where is the love for the game!? :'(

Oh yeah, the majority around the 1200-1300 mark are too swept up by points to remember that chess is fun too.

No.

You're telling me you've never lost a game, had someone leave and went "Darnit...I wanted a rematch."?

Thats...amazing o.o

It happens at all levels, not just around the 1200's. Just don't take it personally. Say, "Their loss!" and find someone else to play with. :)

Oh I do, but the competitor in me just wants that second chance...

Oh well haha, I'll take out my frustration on the next player muahahaha! Or lose terribly, but eh...that's chess!
