Yea, I have lost a few on time with time to spare, Oh well.
But that don't mean I liked it.
Are there even mods on this site?
Plenty, soesfairview, but this is the gazzillionth thread about 'time cheating'. Did you know that you can win a life time premium membership if you can prove a way of timecheating? This may surprise you: sofar it has not been claimed..
I can give you the names of the offenders. Are the games logged? You can see if they are.

Well when I have 7 minutes and only 15 seconds passed by in real time and I just ran out of time......
Also I am not a ciscoo engineer but I have been building computers for years.

I'm very tired of time cheaters. How do they do it, and why doesn't chess.com stop it? Where can I report them?

Why can't an Admin just review the game log, should be extremely easy to do.

I did not know that. I haven't had it happen ever since but I no longer play 10 min games.
If it ever happens again I will record it. I was unaware of the compensation.

Just send an email to the staff. They are doing a good job here on chess.com and they reply really fast.
There was a player here who spammed insults in the forums. Instead of creating a thread and complain, I just reported him immediately and after one day he got banned. That guy was chesstroll4 aka chesstroll1, chesstroll2 etc.
I don't hesitate to report people if they are obviously violating the TOS. A lot of the trolls and rude people think I'm joking at first until they get banned.
I'm not fooling around. Reporting someone is a powerful tool to cleanse chess.com from trash.
The mods even encouraged me to report people immediately. Ever since that moment I knew I don't have to accept any insults and spam anymore.
Don't argue with them, report them and they will be taken care off.
Playing 10 min games and losing to time with 7 or 8 mins left.
This happened 3 times in a row today. Not lag.
