Time cheating

I have had several topics on this same issue as there are some people out there who can access "slow motion mode" and influence or even stop time.
It seemed that no one believed me and this talent was explained as "internet lag". The only consolation is that these gifted morons can not make their own clock stop and, like Pink Floyd said, you die when you die.
I have experience the time cheating more then thrice on chess.com
The opponent is favored by manipulating the time to his advantage to such an exptent that countdown clock is increased even when it had ultimately touched ZERO.
We will revisit chess.com only once we are given satisfactory answer. We advice the others too to follow us and boycote chess.com to teach a lesson to stop biased approach.

troll... this is lag... and your bad internet connection...
I have to strongly report to responsible chess players that TIME CHEATING is allowed intentionaly at chess.com to favor some players at the cost of game to others even when time is reached to ZERO.
Moreover, time of the opponent is increased.
Once the clock shows ZERO and you are sure to get the positive result and rating increased, you find that not just the more time is given but also opponent is ensured to defeat the honest player.
Moreover, besides TIME CHEATING, even some times moving the desired pown to get the end result favorable to oneself is not allowed dispite to repeated attempts.
Anybody, out there who have experience the same and agrees with me.

For some reason it only happens when you're a queen up... worse time problem on ChessCube though, people lose on time when the server registers that they've moved. It's an exploit there but staff say it's just lag.

Well it all depends on your settings. As everyone knows, premium members have an additional button in their interface: the cheat button. What everyone may not realize is that it functions slightly differently in online (correspondence) and live. When you press "cheat" in online, you are given the best move for the position. In "live", whether you get to be a "time cheat" or "position cheat" depends on your settings. Alot of people don't realize they have that option for live settings.

lol

So you say that chess.com is selling "time" to players, who get a special functionality to swindle their opponent.
I have a revolving line of credit with them just for this purpose. I get frequent flyer miles too!

If you're not also getting rewards pts on your visa card, you should hold out for a better deal.

Free members used to get a time trick where it looks like their clock goes down to zero when it doesn't go down to zero, which confuses their opponent. This was removed when people reported it as a bug.

Really bad day of blitz. Dropped over 100 points from an already low rating and still barely got past several players rated under 1600. Had a string of suspicious players who disconnected and then played extremely strong when they returned.

10 years ago and people use the same cheat mode, it feels like it is a simple fix but 10 years later the same comments about encountering the same issue with players still a topic, time manipulation in chess is such a waste and it ruins the game for those who play fairly.
