Both sides always have the same time control so if it seems like the opponent is gaining time but you are not it is probably a bad connection to the server on your end.

I am a beginner. I have installed the app on phone and was playing 1 min chess. A lot of the players have time increments when they make a move but not me. It is a premium feature? ... Is it a setting that i am not aware of? ... Feels quite unfair to me as i can't win no matter how fast i play good moves; they pause to think and make up the time lost but my clock keeps running. And they keep sending requests for rematch to boost up their ratings!!!!!!! ... Please someone give some guidance or the site and community stand to lose a keen learner and player.
