BUT real chess players can multitask
Time to limit involvement
I assume the comment of jennbeloved (now AkumaX) is meant to be a joke. It's not a very helpful contribution here.
I understand completely bishopson and indeed have had to limit my own activity recently (though I haven't thought through what I can continue to do as logically as you have.)
I remain grateful for all those who devote a lot of time not only to having fun and learning on the site but also to leading and administering. I often think chess.com should be giving out some free memberships to those who have a track record of contributing a lot in that kind of way.
Thanks to you for what you have been doing and especially your leadership in the vote chess matches I have taken part in.
Colin
My schedule is getting very busy again. On top of that my youngest child has started showing an interest in chess, and I will be helping out a chess club nearby helping children learn the game, being involved in directing and going to tournaments as well. As a result, I will have to limit my time and involvement here in the groups to which I belong.
1) I will not play in any team matches and tournaments.
2) I will not participate in more than one vote chess game per group, and even then I will have to limit myself to no more than 5 vote chess games.
3) I will not be very involved as an admin or groups, but will lead as I am able.
I hope you understand why I need to limit my activity at this time.
