I'm not aware of chess being based on points? You either win, lose or draw based on checkmate, the rules for drawing, or running out of time.

WOW! The same topic 3 times in one week.

What is it with all these time crybabies?

The clock is part of the game. Learn to manage it properly or keep losing.

Time is part of chess.... I'm new here, is there always this much complaining on here? Most topics I've looked at so far are people complaining or arguing.

YEah, there's certainly some fishing going on here.

phudson

Hopefully it's catch and release

DrSpudnik

When playing speed chess, or any chess with a "sudden death" time limit, you must consider that time is another element of the game. What you gain on the board you lose on the clock and vice versa.

phudson

Kinghunter, can you translate "stolling in my pond"?

DrSpudnik

don't go there!

I don't necessarily speak it very well, trysts, but sort of interpreting the OP.

You're probably only one of a few scholars in the world capable of interpreting the comment boxes in this threadLaughing

why should you reward a player with a win if he is out pointed......even with time???????????????.......so a player who is out pointed   ....but has more time on clock....can just dance to run time off the clock and get a win.........thats beyond stupid....and a reason i,ll consider never wasting my time  here again

By here you mean playing chess? Is not a rule of this site.

You're going to be awfully disappointed when you find out this is actually the rule for all chess everywhere.
