It does seem that way sometimes. Time flies when you're having fun.
timer is not accurate

well, for the purpose of that, i played couple games at the same speed as my opponent, meaning/ opponent makes move... i make move right after... at the end of the game I always have 10-20 seconds less....

I don't think that's a valid test since in the course of a 40 move game, any slight errors per move could easily explain that difference.
Why not just go back to playing 5 and 10 minute chess?
