Tips For a Begnnier that plays OTB

Hello community!

I'm quite new to the world of chess, but let's say I know the basics well (control of the center, forks, pins etc) I bought a Chesssnut air to play OTB online because I would like to do some tournaments in reality one day and therefore I play online with that.
I also made a diamond subscription to chess com because I had a 50% discount, how can I improve well with the tools proposed by chess com? I have many problems and I solve them quite well but then in the games I get a bit lost in the middle game, I can't see advantageous situations for me.
Thanks to anyone who answers

Play slow games (at least 30 minutes), solve simple tactical puzzles, read a strategy book or game collection for beginners/ intermediate players. That should get you to 1200-1600 or so.
