How about no?!

BobbyMac, what if there are Christians on this site that aren't your friends?  Don't they deserve Holiday wishes, too?  :(

Hanukkah came very early this year.  I do infrared photography and the Menorah looks amazing with it.  Instead of one day of presents you get eight crazy nights! :D Remember to leave some wine and a chair out for Elijah?  Wait, wrong ritual ^_^ Greeks, Assyrians, and Romans when they had Israel would ban circumcision, and nations such as many Christian kingdoms in the middle ages and Nazi Germany banned it (and blamed Jews for poisoning wells and cursing harvests despite the deviation from logic that one would hurt themselves by cursing crops)  so remember that history whenever a country has the urge to ban the practice.

Lou-for-you

Are you talking of banning it on humans or on animals? I am against chopping of parts of any living creature.

In before the lock.

JustinScoggins

Merry Christmas.

Mr_Tarkanian

BobbyMac cursed at me above.  I had his post deleted - on Christmas, of all holidays.  :(

BigDaveTheRageSlave

cursing is very naughty behaviour.

Mr_Tarkanian

Agreed.  See if Santa comes to his house next year - I was too late to stop Santa this year.  :(

I wish Merry Christmas to ALL my friends, regardless of their beliefs. What most people in the US practise is, after all, largely based on pagan traditions, but that is not the point.

It's good to have the spirit of christmas, the best and true part of it, the humanity, goodwill, etc. at least for one day a year. (we can always be hateful the other 364 - as some folks seem to practice)

P'shaw.  The days of celebrating the solstice are behind us.  What most people in the U.S. practice this time of year is a peculiar hybrid of consumerism and sloth.  Hell, we're too lazy to even be hedonists.

Merry Christmas!

However perhaps in 2013 going on 2014 could think beyond those 12-days?
