Hi , can someone explain the logic of today’s daily puzzle ? why would you choose a Bishop over queen when you reach your opponent side with your pawn ??
black is threatening Ng3+ twice. If white promoted the second pawn to a Queen it would end up on g3
Now after 1. fxg6 Kxg6 what is Blacks move ???
Under promoting is usually about avoiding Stalemate.
