While the thread may be a parody; several years ago I thought what would happen if a true chess idiot rated about 900 or so actually wrote a book on "How to Become a Class E Player." It would be filled with the most halarious mistakes such as how to hang your Queen or show how giving up a rook for a pawn may not be that bad for psychological reasons to show how fearless you are to your opponent so he would play more caustiously etc.
Even though it will probably never happen I'd bet the "idiot" would have a pretty good seller. Without disparaging the "Backyard Professor" he had a fairly large following by simply reading out of a Silman book and many times coming to a completely erroneous conclusion of the position being analyzed.
