Tournament chess openings.

Alright, so I am a Junior in High school and play chess fairly regularly (almost everyday). About two years ago I started playing the sicillian dragon as black in order to combat e4. I enjoy the counter attacking chances but feel like white gets a better position on me (i.e g4 h4 pawn storm) this is very uncomfortable for me to play in. Because of this, i have been looking into possibly changing my opening repertoire. Two openings i have been looking at are the sicillian scheviningen setup and the french. Which one would be more beneficial to my playing style? I play at my best in lines that are slightly closed and strategic, allowing for positional play. I have tried a couple games with the french but i always feel too committed and slightly cramped. Also, any suggestions for what to play as white? I usually play a Kings pawn Bc4 setup but have been considering a c4 setup. Finally, i refuse to play caro kann as black. Thank you in advance
