its nice that you are quoting me horsey but you have not posted in this forum and i made the announcement that the post was closed im sorry but there are more than enough players and if i let you in i would be uneven in my brackets which are already finished and this would be unfair to the other players who posted so again sorry but the tournament has already started there were a couple of spaces and these have now been filled

random color on challenge unless you won the previous game
3 day per move max
must use tournament heading
fair gameplay no cheating
this is not a single elimination tournament you will have a second chance to advance
this is round one round two will be announced when this rounds winners have been determined
the winner will recieve as was discussed earlier a trophy from each particapant as well as the points accumualated from his or her wins throughout the tournament

calm down people highflyer is doing the best he can. If you have already won your first game you'll just have to wait until everyone else finishes their first round matches. If there is a draw play again, or ask him when the time comes. Give a break.

thank you! ok first to doing me since maxjohnson lost on time for whatever reason you are the winner of that match of course you will wait to face the winner of kingfork vs mrquad but you have advanced to the next game.
next question was about the trophies well i asked that everyone that joined the tournament be sportsmanlike. you are correct one player may not play the winner but i have asked that no matter win or lose all particapants give the winner a trophy but some people may not do this. i have no control over this but i ask simply in the matter of sportsmanlike conduct that it happens.
ok next question was what if there is a draw that has been deemed to be called a draw in fairness. then those two players will go to the second chance bracket with the other players who have not won against their first opponents and these two players will be paired against different opponents they will not have an automatic rematch they will simply be paired off against two different opponents.

ok an update to all particapants i have checked and all games are in progress except one
the games are progessing nicely for the most part and some of them are still in the early stages. so far everyone is giving their best i believe this should be a good tourney and if it goes well i have another one in mind that will hold 40 entries and single elimination knockout
i am taking entries now for the next tourney the winner of this tourney will automatically have an entry if he wishes to be in it

WHEN YOU LOSE YOU ARE OUT SINGLE ELIMINATION
RULES WILL BE AS FOLLOWS:
#1 THE NUMBER YOU ENTER THE TOURNAMENT IS THE NUMBER YOU START FROM SO YOU WILL KNOW YOUR OPPONENTS NAME BEFOREHAND
#2 THERE WILL BE A 1 MOVE PER DAY MIN AND 1 MOVE PER 3 DAY MAX
#3 A STARTING POSITION WILL BE DETERMINED AND YOU WILL PLAY ON FROM THAT POINT
#4 YOU WILL PLAY AS WHITE INITIALLY IF YOU ARE AN ODD NUMBER BECAUSE YOU WILL BE THE ONE ISSUING THE CHALLENGE. EXAMPLE PSIHRISHI WILL BE WHITE TO FACE TORI. HBL WILL BE WHITE TO FACE HIS OPPONENT WHOEVER THAT IS AND SO ON AND SO ON.
#5 IN THE CASE OF A DRAW THE FOLLOWING WILL HAPPEN
(A) THE TWO PLAYERS WILL LET ME KNOW A DRAW HAS OCCURED
(B) A REMATCH WILL BE ISSUED
(C) A DIFFERENT STARTING POSITION WILL BE DETERMINED
(D) THE COLOR WILL BE RANDOM
(E) THE TIME LIMIT WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY 1 MOVE PER DAY
IF THE GAME IS DRAWN BY REPITITION THEN THE PLAYER WHO MADE THE SAME MOVE CAUSING THE DRAW WILL BE OUT. THIS WILL BE JUDGED AS UNSPORTSMANLIKE CONDUCT AND THE OTHER PLAYER WILL ADVANCE.
THE LAST PLAYER REMAINING IN THE TOURNAMENT IS THE WINNER AND THUS IS THE LAST MAN STANDING.
ONCE I HAVE DETERMINED THE STARTING POSTION FOR THE FIRST GAME I WILL POST IT HERE. THERE ARE 37 SPOTS REMAINING HOWEVER REMEMBER THE WINNER OF THE ONGOING TOURNAMENT WILL AUTOMATICALLY HAVE A SPOT OPEN FOR HIM IN THIS ONE NO MATTER IF ALL THE SPACES ARE FILLED.
IF THE 40 SPACES ARE FILLED AND THE WINNER FROM THE ONGOING TOURNAMENT JOINS MAKING 41 THEN AT THAT TIME ADDITIONAL SPOT OR SPOTS WILL OPEN UP TO BE DETERMINED AT THAT TIME.
