I had this problem not so long ago, was playing a lot of 'bullet' and finding difficult to focus on slower games. About 2-3 weeks ago 'live chess' became unplayable for me (they made some changes to fight lag I guess) since then I play only 'online' (snail-mail) chess and I find it much better - have more time to analyse and actually think what to do. I know it's an obvious answer, but it worked for me maybe it'll work for you.
