I have discovered in the course of playing many games over the years that the easiest way to win a game--a least amonst us patzers--is to trap your opponents pieces. This is especially true when your opponent is following the old idea of avoiding exchanges. When he does that the board tends to be blocked up with pieces and it becomes really easy to trap pieces. Also many people like to move out their queens early then her majesty becomes an easy target! If anyone here has actual examples of this from games I'd luv 2 c them!
