:) OOO ooo, pick me pick me, That'd be ole Bobby amirite? My thoughts are, freindly banter is hardly trashtalk so I wouldn't group the two together. There's no moral implications in my opinion of trashtalking, i've been guilty myself on rare occasion. Much more importantly, when you're playing a calm assertive winning chess player, it seems to me you will very rarely see any strategic implications either (or a not so calm assertive but Winning chess player like M. Tal) but will rather portray yourself as childish and paranoid, whether that is the case or not.

i think your wrong, trash talk if not taken too far can be a great way to build friendly rivalries thus creating friendship. and ones play makes him look like a loser as well as unthought .
