I don't think that dedicated chess travel computers are very popular any more since most phones can give you all the game you'll ever need.
There are probably some old ones floating around though that you can get.
Yeah I've got an under $100 android tablet that works great for killing time on the subway or at the mall. If there's public WiFi I can connect to chess.com; if not, I've got a great tactics program I use (and half a dozen other chess programs I haven't really explored). OOPS, old school me
