Tricks are for kids

That was a cool game! May I ask why when black move joker to d6 was it a great move? My low elo brain can't see why it's not a blunder, isn't it hanging?
Edit: Move 12

If Qd6 after Bd6,then black takes the knight on f3 because the pawn can't capture because of the pin along the g file
Oh that's insane! such a cool move.
Thanks for explaining

I was thinking about something,i am getting older and chess is more and more far away than me.... it's no longer my second or first priority.I think i will have to quit due to exam pressure but i don't want to.What can i do?
I have final exams coming up in my uni and I'm fully in my revisions, still find some time to play a few games xD
I think that you can't really forget your chess knowledge (I might be totally wrong, I'm a newbie), a break might do good. Something I noticed with game I play is that they become less fun when I start to take them seriously, wins are less rewarding and losses more painful. Sure competition is good from time to time, but not every single game. You can try creating a second account where you go for the insane sacrifices that you usually don't dare to go for
