All pawns and no hope.

When you are a 700 you should always play 1.. e5

I play the Caro-Kann a lot against e4 , and have on a few occasions had 2. Qf3 played against me .I always reply with ...Nf6

Yeah, the position really got away from him. Rychess really is right. At 700 rating, the winner is almost the player who hangs the fewest pieces. Players should think less about what’s a good opening, and worry the most about loose pieces.

The problem with e5 though is that at 700, practically half the games you play against are either scholar’s mate attempts or wayward queen attacks. You really need to watch a few videos on how to defend against those those.

o my dindt even think about nf6 that is actually a lot easier then panicking thx haha

in my opinion every beginner should play e5 vs e4, d5 vs d4, c5 vs c4, and Nf6 vs Nf3

rychessmaster1

perhaps e5 against c4, that is fair

the only ones ive fought against usual go Kings Indian and queens indian/nimzo, queens gambit declined ofc or queens gambit/kings gambit. but it is probably the case that they are playing something that i have no clue of what is.  Most of my games are me getting confused or me getting trapped by some theory i was just watching before the game. still i have not seen a single player use The London. but thx NLC i hadn't heard about any of those so i must go check it out now !!( im rly new to chess thing so dont know anything about what kind metas are for each elo)
