Okay I.m in with 42 and love every one of them! Some are flakey but nonetheless they all mean that someone thought highly enough of me to send me one.
I was actually going to try and contact the head folks at Chess.com about doing something about the age, condition, significance of a broom, padlock, banana peel, hopefully you get my drift.
I'm all in for the cups, okay, so they're jpg's who cares! Actually, my nicest one is the smallest and can't been seen from my site's homepage....medal for winning a 3 person tourney...but the best thing about that...I met and played Marysson! CHEERS!

its a pity that these "trophies" are trivial, and pointless....it would be far more pleasing if they were automatically award for doing something worthwhile.

i dont belive negative trophies are a good idea, they kinda defeat the true meaning of a trophie.
I don't have many, but that makes me happy. I think trophies are nice to get after really special games. My first several (all of which I lost), were all against the same guy... A couple of them were pretty special, so receiving a trophy after we stopped playing was truly rewarding.
I prefer not trivialize trophies by getting or giving them after every game.
I have given many but only have two so far.
I think trophies are a great feature of this site.
I don't count them, but I love getting them!!
