Trying to find chess club/other players

Hi:

I'm tring to find anyone who knows of chess clubs or meetings in the Pittsburgh, PA area which allows new players. I've never been able to play an actual person yet. I see some sites online but they don't look like they have been updated for years. I'm new to the game, so if that's OK as well, can anyone let me know?

Didn't you say you were in grad school Mike?  Hard to believe your university doesn't have a chess club.
