@SJFG a TT rating of 2442 is amazing! That just means you have to translate your tactical ability to the chessboard and find them in real games.
@chesskingdreamer have you considered applying for an NM title? You can get a free diamond membership and unlimited tactics! And you can watch videos and much more! And great TT rating for your level, your tactical ability is quite strong!
Well, my TT is 3013, which is 848 points higher than my USCF and 1008 higher than my FIDE. :) And by the way, chesskingdreamer is Awonder Liang, world champion U-8 in 2011 and youngest master in America's history. So he could even apply for the FM title!

What a talent.

How do I know what?
Well, he mentioned on another thread that he is an FM, he said his rating is 2299, so, I think I'm right.
I do, about one large tournament every week, but I have only started last December, and have only played in 18 events.
If you go into the TT results and click players you can get a list of the highest ratings for TT. The 4th on the list has a TT rating over 3000 but the highest playing rating is online in the 1700's and standard in the 1600's.
For me, I am 1265 USCF but have not played OTB in about a year and a half. My TT rating is in the mid 1600's right now but usually is in the mid 1500's.
@Abhishek2
good point.
actually i think the difference would matter until a certain point, i.e. the gentleman who had a 3000+ rating probably achieved that by perseverance and hard work. That does not necessarily mean that he plays better than Magnus Carlsen otb. Actually, when someone reaches National/Fide Master level of play, i think it just takes time and not increasing skill to achieve greater heights at TT.
just saying.
thanks, good luck to you too
