I've read and watched a lot of media about Bobby Fischer. It's common to see him portrayed as this paranoid, mentally ill man in his later years. While him being mentally ill is definitely an agreeable opinion, I'm surprised at how often they call him paranoid. It is on record that he was being monitored by the FBI for decades, and likely also the KGB as well.
