Twenty (20) years jail for playing a game of chess
Bill doesn't equal law. Should it become a law, then people should worry. Anyways, this is politics, so thread lock imminent.
the thread's going to be locked, so I'm gonna get in and say that bill is awful, and must be stopped. Free Palestine!
Well, minus well also get in before the lock...
I might as well get in before the lock and take this opportunity to correct someone's grammar. The expression is "might as well", not "minus well."
It's going to be locked because it's politics. We're not allowed to discuss politics on the main forum. There is a group called open discussion where you can talk about it.

You're right, but I like to play around with words and sounds.
I think CM mecanicas meant to say NOT allowed.
That's right. Typing mistake. Thank you very much.
You forgot your obligatory greeting, mec. I love reading your greeting that starts your posts.
For once, I have to agree with the Washington Post. I'm not interested in participating in the boycotts myself, but if other people want to for whatever reason they should have the right to.
Hmmm. The invitation to this forum was posted in a group i am a member of. I read it to be something seperate from the usual "chess forums". I'll delete my posts.
I am aware of the bill introduced in our Senate, and I am opposed to it. I have some sympathy for the Palestinian cause, but I also remember Munich 1972. I have no sympathy for the OP "20 years in jail for playing chess" and I advise the mods to delete this thread posthaste before it gets really nasty.
