Two pieces in one hand

Is it ever legal to hold two pieces in one hand while making a move? Or is there a rule against that? Handling two pieces with fingers does not look impossible...

RNKingKiller

you cannot hold two pieces at a time. if you are castling, first you move your king and Then your rook. if you are capturing your opponents piece, then you are supposed to move your piece to the desired square and then pick up the captured piece. while promoting, you first push your pawn to the back rank, Then replace it with a queen/rook. but you must not hold two pieces while making moves

Examining the laws of chess, I noted in article 4, that a rule to require making each move with one hand expressly exists (4.1). But holding two pieces in one hand is not expressly addressed. Description of castling specifically requires touching king first - but then talks of the situation of king released on castling square before touching the rook. Implying that the king would be released first - but not directly addressing the possibility of picking up a rook into the hand already holding the king as something forbidden.
