Ugly vs. pretty interfaces

Do you find some chess interfaces ugly while others are good looking?

I find the Fritz/Chessbase interface/board less attractive, which makes me want to use it less.

I love the Play button which plays the game in slow motion using a set move interval.

Also I think the interface of this program is very attractive:

Convekta products used to have an ugly interface, but they've gotten much better since the Peshk@ interface has come out.

I guess I like interfaces with a slightly cartoonish, abstract appearance. Anyone else have any preferences?

Peshk@ has a nice clear interface and attractive board too, rather like Aquarium:

As long as the interface lets me install a natural looking maple board and Merida fonts, I'm relatively happy. I don't care much for the cartoonish look of the Haundrix interface, though.
