I played against my student only a few years ago. I gave him draws to boost his confidence. I didn’t start playing blitz here on chess.com until a week or two ago. I’m not raising my rating up past low 1900’s but I’m 2020 USCF and have an excellent record against U2000’s.
I needed some battles and I’m finding strong speed players rated in the 1750’s and up range.
For example @pjsstudio, if this is the only place you play chess, you've only played ~400 blitz games in ~3 years.
Plenty of people play 400 a month. I used to.
