Unending windmill checks?

Hi, I'm playing a 1 day move game against player, the game is almost equal, think he has the slight edge maybe. But he's got me into a situation of being stuck in constant windmill checks with queen and knight.
These checks are completely pointless and he can't win any material or create any kind of attack form it but he is being a complete a-hole and just keeps checking me over and over and over, and laughing.
As the knight checks vary the 3 move repetition does not apply. My question is how long will I have to put up with this before the game is drawn? Or will it just go on until he decides to stop?

What about this rule? Does it apply here? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fifty-move_rule

This will be threefold repetition in due course. The repetition does not need to be consecutive, only that the same position occurs 3 times at any point in the game.

First-world problem.  If you think he has a slight edge, offer him a draw, it sounds like he has a perpetual.  Whatever you do, don't complain about it in public.  This is your private cross to bear and you must bear it stoically until you make better moves or you shuffle off your mortal coil.

He's waiting for the draw after three repetition.

If not, you can claim the draw.

By clicking "draw"

Hmm interesting, so far he's repeated the checks 11 times in a row, and no 3 mover rep as yet. Seems like he's not interested in a draw more just is enjoying and taunting me and annoying me!

Oh, how I love these!

It already is a draw... the position with knight on f6 and king on h8 has been repeated more than three times, lol.

I guess not Mickynj, my point was that it can't be a 3 fold repetition if he keeps on changing the discovered check attack squares with the knight, so far 13 pointless checks, (offered him draw) and still he continues. 🤔

...... are you kidding? it's already a draw, same position has been repeated thrice.... and then some

The draw has to be claimed during a repetition.

Lloyd99984, This is an on-going game so I won't make any suggestions. But there is an option to comment on the game and the players are not able to see the comments until the game is over.

Here is the game:

I have added a comment to the game, but you won't be able to see it until the game is over. Anyone else can see it.

I'm pretty sure that's not correct. Like 99%. If there has been the same position repeated thrice, a draw can be claimed at any point. Also, at no point in that article does it say it HAS to be claimed during a repetition. I guess I could be wrong, but I doubt it.

so all the op needs to do is make a move then '"click" the " offer draw" selection?
no matter what the opponent does- ie- puts op in check?
i'm curious since i've wanted to know how to do this as well

I ran into the same thing....I had a threefold clear and could not claim it....it is a program error, you have to claim it before you move and not after....in OTB it would not make a difference, you just call the director over, in on-line chess on chess.com it does, apparently.
