Unmasking the Emu

Michael Tal is the brother of James Tal
I am uncharacteristically disinterested in all matters Tal for the time being.
I m only concerned with matters tukmakov through ragozin.

He claims to be one of the grandmasters who drew Michael Tal in 1988 in St John
Not true. I claimed (and maintain) that I drew against Tal in 1988 in Saint John... in a simul.
I said nothing about having a title, certainly not the GM title. I am just a talented nonentity.

Please give me a heads up on where I might find the games of that simul online?
A lot of those databases are incomplete... The mysterious Emu might not even be on there. @blueemu I just saw your sozin game. What are your thoughts on the fischer sozin where white castles kingside?

Yes yes indeed well then. *Hands emu his incognito back with a embarrassed smile*
Apologies for the uneccasary bother hehe

It's probably sound, but offers White no advantage. Then again, ALL sound openings lead eventually to a balanced position.
Personally, as White if I were going to play the Fischer-Sozin, I would aim for the Velimirovic Attack, since it's a better match for my style than the pure Sozin is.
EDIT: You played over my Fischer-Sozin game and didn't comment on it? But my ego needs feeding!

I don't believe in pre learned openings. I think right off the bat the chessplayer ought to play the position move by move. It makes no difference if one remembers opening theory if one plays the opening by solid positional and tactical understanding, the opening is aptly deconstrued both ways

I agree there is too much theory in chess, good luck avoiding it though. At least the first handful of moves of every chess game have been played countless times before, and if you play decent moves chances are someone else came up with a similar idea at some point and you are playing theory anyway. I do think learning about some openings can be interesting and help bolster your own creativity though.

If your ego needs feeding than we should play sometime lol. I'm much better than my rating on here but I'm a long way from drawing a world champion.

You see that link fellows? That link, is a seemingly nondescript link.
It's a link of the games played by Michael Tal in 1988 in St. John. Nothing very unusual about that is there.
But this is where it gets intense. In that link are games drawn by people who played Michael. Not lost, mind you but drawn. Which puts those drawers in the very highest echelons of the history of chess.
But this is where the pink is absolutely struck.
In that link and I'll post it here again for effect,

is the true identity of blueemu.
He claims to be one of the grandmasters who drew Michael Tal in 1988 in St John, on another post of mine he said that.
Needless to say I am now systematically going through every single one of those 120 games, trying to divine which one of them is the Emu.
On the other hand all that trouble could be avoided if you could just tell us which one you are Emu?
It would make my day if I found out I was talking to Tukmakov who played so and so who played so and so who played Capablanca in 1933.

doxxing means publishing info about others, not quoting information they already have published about themselves in this case, blueemus statement that he drew Tal in St John in 1988.
I never said I would post what his name is in public. I merely said I would check out all the rated games played by Tal in 1988 in St John, and in doing so I would inevitably know which players played Tal. That doesn't fit the description of doxxing.

“is the true identity of blueemu.“
Wrong - as seen by the above quoted claim
Even according to my claim, which doesn't mention intent to publish his name, but specifically to peruse all games played by Tal in St John in 1988, your allegation doesn't bear out.

But when you concluded that I was Tukmakov, you immedietly published that.
That only becomes unintentional or a second degree charge of doxxing in the event that you are in fact tukmakov, since then it would be a dox based on assumption, like a lucky guess, but still second degree doxing. But since you said you are not tukmakov thankfully I'm in the clear.
