Anyone who plays the Berlin against the Ruy Lopez or the Catalan with the white pieces destroys all joy in chess, just saying. Go play 1. e4 or the Caro-Kann, even the French Defense, or dare I say a Najdorf -- make the game exciting! Also, anyone who plays the symmetrical Neo-Gruenfeld needs to STOP and play something else, be more creative PLEASE. (and the people will rant in the comments below, have fun)
