What if your opponent moves Qf6?
Guido -- I think the counterattacking Qf6 is best for Black. In fact I think Black is at least equal after Qf6... not sure if the textbooks agree with me on that.

That happened to me once in 7th grade when I was probably rated around 700. Thought it was amazing then but its not. It's a dumb 'trick' that should never be taught.
I am a mediocre player at best but i can tell you now, do not rely on cheap traps, because should your opponent not fall for it then you have effectively wasted tempo.
Things like that (and scholars mate which STILL gets played against me) are not really going to get you anywhere against fairly experienced players and will not help your game in the long run, sorry to sound like a know it all but I used to learn such tricks like that but once you reach a certain standard you will realise that they are usually a waste of time and will actually harm your learning of the game, these "tricks" do you no favours at all as you should be learning how to open properly rather than relying on such methods to give you an edge, anybody over 1300 is not going to fall for those kind of tricks imo..
I call that a useless trick.
I never want to try it because if I beat someone with it I could have pummeled them in a much more creative way. If I don't beat them with it I will probably either be in a slightly worst position or losing.
