You sure can, it's a feature used to pause games for a limited, perhaps you should use it wisely and confirm it with your opponent (sportsmenship) and take your vacation towards the end of your turn to maximise your "vacation" period.

Can vacation time be used as "sick leave"? I get migraines and cannot play for several days or longer sometimes, so do I just use the vacation setting to pause games?
