Vacationing before mate?

I'm about to checkmate my opponent, and right before I do so, my opponent goes on vacation.  I noticed that he/she has 24 days of vacation.  Is this some kind of trickery that I'm just not familiar with...or is this person actually on vacation? I'm pretty new to chess.com and didn't know if anyone else has had experience with this.

 I finally won a game against a player now rated 2068. We made 30 moves in two days, it has taken six weeks to play the other 5 moves!

 Some people cannot cope with defeat...lol

This sort of things happens quite often. I usually set a conditional move and try to forget the game. And sometimes the person would indeed log off for vacation.
