Variation expected in antique chess sets

Hello

First time poster here so sorry if there are any errors...

I would like to know how much variation in turning on old/antique chess sets is expected.  I recently bought an antique St George Set on-line for quite a large sum (to replace a set which had a few replacement pieces).  I've now had a look at the set in greater detail and whilst the white pawns are all very consistent the black pawns all look very subtly different - the collars are differing sizes and the bands at the bottom are different heights.  The white queen also is subtly different (with the bottom band a different height).  A picture of the pawns is below.  The differences are so subtle I'm inclined to believe that it is a complete set.  Does anyone have any thoughts or advice please?  See below especially the first four pawns.  I also only ask because I got ripped off on another set previously so the buying of old chess sets seems to be a bit of a minefield.

Kind regards

Michael
