Very genorus Tactics trainer today

Suddently noticed I had gained 420 Tactic points today,  Whitout playing better. 
Suspect theres something wrong with it.

There have been some change to the scoring mechanisms over the past couple of weeks.

That was followed by a change to make failures less harsh and successes on higher rated tactics higher, causing some inflation. It looks like some of your tactics were likely done during that period. I believe they made another change today (or yesterday evening maybe) that scaled that back a bit.

Not sure how much impact the last change will have but in my last session my rating stay relatively stable, and wasn't getting as many points when solving in the Target Time (100% score time).

Oh, I see. Thanks. Kinda looks like this inpacted my tactics rating quite a bit though. My previous high score was just over 1600 - and tonight  I came close to 1900

Wow those were easy problems today, I breezed through them.

The last few days things were easy and my rating went way up but it has been falling all day today.  The time allowances seem very small.  I just got a problem where the time allowance was 2 seconds and the board was full of pieces.  So most puzzles I only get one point for solving.

The most recent problem you had that had a 2 second Target Time was rated 450 points lower than your rating. The idea is that you should see such a tactic much more quickly. However, the average time was 22 seconds so you still could have spent time on it and received points. You solved it, but it took twice as long as the average.

Some of the others, that had 2 seconds on the Target Time, were similar, being over 400 points lower rated. I'm a little surprised you only got 1 point on a couple of those since you solved them near the average time but it could be that problems that far off  your rating won't provide many points in any case (which makes sense).

Uh, oh.  I thought it was private.  Since I've seen that if I don't solve a problem within a "reasonable" time, once that time has elapsed I've been watching TV, etc., taking all the time in the world to solve it.  I'll have to stay on task from now on!
