Hey, I have been reading through a lot of these challenges, and I just wanted to say, thank you for doing these! I have learned a lot through just looking at these games and your notes. I would also like to play a game against you, if that is OK, and perhaps you can analyze it and critique my play, and give me an estimated rating? I am curious about what my true skill rating is!
But, thanks for doing these games and posting them here! I have learned a lot!
To recap:
I thought you played extremely well, far above 1300. Apart from the blunders at the end I would say you played like at least an 1800-2000 player. I think you have a very good understanding of how chess should be played, but your blunders hold you back. If you work on your blunders then you will be above 1300 in no time. You also need to be more cautious about undefended pieces. Your Knight on a5 and your pawn on c2 ended up being tactically vulnerable. So my recommendation for you to improve would be to work on your tactics by solving a lot of chess puzzles. I think that would be the fastest way for you to get better.
You can see the analysis of the game here.
If you look at the graph from move 25 to move 41 you can see how it slowly crept back to being about equal. This means that during those moves you were actually outplaying me, which is very impressive.
