Idea: you have just finished watching a video chess lesson and the information was great! How nice would it be to be able to have a chess mentor lesson based on the lecture you just watched? if you think this would be a good idea please respond.

This is a good idea.  It makes sense to have related studying. Cool

Amen Gyrow32.  There really needs to be more coordination between the video lessons, chess mentor, and I would add the computer workouts.  What I would really like to see, is that after every chess mentor lesson, and every video lesson, you are given a link to several computer workouts that test you on exactly the material that you have been studying.  I have been studying the lessons on rook endgames from both chess mentor and the video lectures, and I feel like I generally understand the main ideas, but would really appreciate being able to test myself with a computer trying to trip me up.  It would be so cool to see at the end of every lesson, a note saying (see chess mentor "Rook Endings", and computer workout RK147).

I really like your ideas gyrow32 and jjeffrey. Having videos together with Chess Mentor would have been great. I also jjeffrey`s idea would have been really good to practice the things you have learned. It good to study with both videos and Chess Mentor, and i get all the ideas and what they are trying to teach me, but i would have benefited even more if i was to try it out vs a computer. I dont think we should expect this coming in the near future(if it ever comes)...and i want to mention that i am really satisfied with both videos and Chess mentor they way they work now. They are great learning tools:)
