Old people also claim that it was uphill both ways to and from school.

Yes, and that's quite impossible but they would never admit it!

see post #109 for explanations

If a child's parents are working to 6pm each day, they could have an arrangement where the child stays with the mother's friend for a couple of hours after school, before going home later when the parents are home.

If their home is at the bottom of the hill, the school is halfway up the hill and the mother's friend's house is at the top, then the child might have to walk uphill both ways to and from school.

"Could care less".

People sound silly when they say that.

Avatar of The_Ghostess_Lola

That one confuses me. What if I could care more ?

So, I've heard it both wayz. 'I couldn't care less' and 'I could care less'. One of them's wrong. It's usually said w/ a neg connotation. How about if you said an elated/happy "I couldn't care more !"

Stuff like conversation "She's like gimme a spoon. I'm like wtf? She goes just do it. i'm like go away. I hate "I'm likes" and "He/She goes" in conversations
