Vista often doesn't run old programs. I had to put TCT on my XP computer, I think it was originally written for windoze 95 but it never worked on Vista. Someday the good people at convekta will catch up. I finally gave up on CA 9 with my Vista machine as well. I can't wait for the next OS to see which of my favorite programs croak this time.
Hi, I bought TCT a few months back and am trying to install it on my new vista 64 machine. I get all sorts of runtime errors, that it's unable to access this or that module. I've tried running it in compatibility mode but with no luck! Surely this vista should be able to run such a simple old program??
Anyone out there have any help?
I did just learn that I could pay another $50 to 'upgrade' to a vista compatible version, but it seems unnecessary. Thanks for reading!
