Visualizing

As I play chess, I feel the need to visualize moves in advance, but it is sometimes hard to calculate unless I place pieces on board.

What should I do to improve visualizing?

As we get elder our visualizing skill sometimes decrease, but it gets a lot easier if we did more practice.Just like doing more maths using mental arithmetic.

From my personal experience, tactics puzzles do help to increase ability to see that position of chess before it arises on the board. If you are confident enough, prepare yourself in a limit time to solve the puzzle. You may find yourself an useful apps or tactics books out there.

Never give up! Hope it helps you, good luck! =D

Many experts recommend starting with learning the chessboard.  You could google around and find some others, but this looks like it works.  Have fun!
