Was this checkmate good?

I am still quite a beginner and I pick things up as I go along. I have great chess days and very poor ones. Today was one of the poorer chess days as I keep being unable to find moves, like for instance I just blundered a Bishop for no reason in this one very early.

However post that I was quite happy with moves from that point on and got a sweet checkmate. Of course he didn't make the right moves always, but thats expected of players at this level.

So request your comments and suggestions.

No...you hung pieces, and got lucky.  Instead of concentrating on a bad check mate, work on improvinig your game.

 I don't know what you mean by good. Are you asking if it's an uncommon mate? Or if there was no black defense?

Trying to find the defense might be a good exercise if you're interested. In the game black played Bxd4
