"Was Your Opponent A Good Sport?"

"Was Your Opponent a Good Sport?" Chess.com puts this message in chat every time at the end of a game, how do I remove it from sayhing that? Less than 10 percent of my opponents are "good sports". I assume a "good sport" is someone who is nice.... But none of my opponents use chat, they just rush rush rush and try their best to flag me. So pls could chess.com just remove the annoying message, or is there a way to do it in settings?

It's a question, you can choose No, if they are bad as much as you told. It helps you and others to get matched with "good" people in the future.

Do you expect people to chat while playing a blitz game? The only time someone is not a good sport is when they are rude - or wasting your time. But even that is subjective.

ChessNovice4Ever

Chatting while playing a chess match and using foul language to agitate an opponent is a condemnable practice.

It's extremely irritating that it is asked every single game..... They should just create some poll that anyone can enter instead of asking every player that question after every single game. Its more annoying when your opponent is the worst sport and then chess.com asks the question, as if its to mock.

This conversation has nothing to do with chatting and language during games........ Not using chat is normal and I'm not complaining about chat not being used, im complaining about the question by chess.com which feels like a mock certain games. And when I say they are a poor sport, they do every single ridiculous thing they can. About 15 percent of my opponents in rapid are cheaters, and whenever most of them get a lost position, they will either disconnect or stall as long as possible for minutes. Also, if they have a bad position but I am low of time of course they're just gonna do crazy stuff to go for a dirty flag. This stuff is just the baseline of these "poor sports".

I am sure that is not true, me saying certain opponents are good sports and some are bad sports will likely not change anything at all. It's probably just some chess.com statistic that they are collecting.

I am not sure, but I think if a player is considered a bad sport many times he'll get in that thing where it takes longer for them to find a game

I don't even understand why you pay so much attention to chat? I just click "new game" after I finish my games... nothing in chat...

Trying to flag you in a speed game? OH the humanity.

What’s the point of the clock if you don’t want speed to be a factor

I'm not sure why you think ignoring the chat is bad sportsmanship, and I'm even more unaware of why you play Blitz if you consider flagging rude. I think that's the only reason speed chess exists

I already said that forget about the chat, just playing is normal. But even in 10 min or 15+10 they do some of the stuff listed above: Stalling/disconnecting in lost positions, cheaters, and dirty flagging in rapid isnt usually considered poor sport but its really annoying. Also, one of my recent opponent's harassed me in chat, then made new accounts, telling me to *** of covid. Even though the chat harassment didn't even make me the angriest out of all these poor sports actions.

None of my opponents in rapid ever think, they just always play every single move as if they are in a rush and hurry..... It's not really considered poor sport but there are many other reasons they are poor sports....

Unless almost every single opponent says that they are a bad sport, it will simply be a chess.com statistic and nothing else. They are asking it for their statistic database info..... Which prob wont even be released to public.

Haha you are funny troll, the bad sport was Nancy Pelosi and her group trying to impeach President Trump even though he didn't do anything to deserve impeachment trials.
