way to many people who use 2 running games to cheat

well i signed up wanting to play other people. i cant seem to beat the majority of players around a 500 rating, but can beat the easy and medium computers. are that many people using a second running chess game in the background to see a computers move to make thier decisions? i think i will go back to playing in real life.

I would suspect there is no cheating at level 400-500...

Btw, I have been looking at your standard online games. You have heaps of games where you resign before the 10th move, even a game where you resign on move 2. I can't tell you how to play, but I am rated a bit higher than you. I don't give up unless I'm certain my game is lost. At your level I would never give up. You're opponent is garanteed to blunder too! Take advantage of that and even if you do  lose the game, it will give you a chance to practice. Practice seeing forks, practice seeing pins, practice not just giving pieces away etc.

I hope you will keep playing on this site, because all in all this is a great community with lots of great people, great chessplayers and an enormous amount of (chess) knowledge that you can tap into, all for free!

I don't think you're running into cheaters. Perhaps stregnthen your opening. and dont give up so easily. You never know when you can capitolize on an opponents mistake. And we ALL make mistakes. Except for maybe Magnus in the Title event! but we're not playing for the World Title. We play to have fun. We play to dicipline our minds. We play because our Fathers taught us. Our brothers taught us. We learned from friends and teachers.

If they are cheating, they are doing a very poor job of it to be rated so low.

I guess they'd have to be cheating with a 500 elo engine...
