Ways to Find Tactics

I saw an interesting video last night from MSK Chess that's here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uy3FjZ8y_H4

Basically the gentleman is stating the best way to find tactics quickly is to look at limited mobility of your opponent's chess pieces first, then look at forcing moves in order of the most powerful: checks, captures and threats.

After watching this video it seems (although very early) it's been easier for me to find answers to tactic problems. I have also heard of Dan Heisman's Seeds of Tactical Destruction which I haven't read yet.

Does anyone else have any other great ways to find tactics as well?

I suspect that Dan Heisman does...But you have to read what he wrote. Smile
