Also, from his YouTube, you can see him give after-match analysis of all the top tournament games, and also gives live analysis on Magnus Carlsen’s bullet games from lichess.org.
I’d suggest watching his championship stream than the other ones, better experience imo.
My question to you titled players, would you like to see more coverage of chess events on chess.com?
How many more years are we going to only see Jennifer Shahade, Yassar Seirawan, and Maurice Ashley only cover tournament games?
Have I missed some legal aspect here? My understanding is that once moves are made, they can then become public information. So, while camera footage from the events and re-broadcasting might not be allowed, couldn't an IM or GM host a show going over the moves already played?
I am not talking about Uncle Yermo's post game analysis stuff which is also good. I am talking about some coverage of a tournament where we can tune into the moves as they are being made and get human analysis.
We have Twitch, why can't one of those guys get some donations and give us a decent show. Playing 1500 players and beating the crap out of them week after week has got to get tedious, no? And there are more exciting games at the top level being played which none of us get to see.
So, if you are a titled player and you would do something like this, what would you need?
