"Around move 18 : He realizes there is no way out he can win or even hold on to a draw ."
Please explain this comment. How exactly is black losing, and unable to draw this?
Weird Strategies !!
Part of learning is losing, probably the biggest part.
Losing with grace is as important as winning with grace. It's a lesson that should be taught and learned.
As for a father that gets mad at their child for losing ... well, that speaks for itself and I don't think I need to go there. Hopefully it was a lie the kid tried to pull on you.

Well sorry... I should have probably said move 21. I was too lazy to look up the game and see where exactly he lost the grip. I just probably calculated in my head " The game was 25-26 move long , so he must have been dead lost around 8-9 moves ago".
Oof ask that noob git gud, I am saying noob because of what he said in chat, m8 u should take hxg3 on move 19 to keep your king safe and Also it’s a principle move to take TOWARDS the Center.
As you can see on the last move if I don't checkmate him and take a pawn , he has a mate in 1 with his rook
25.h3
25.Rd7
Oh I see what you mean. You mean if I you captured on a7 instead of checkmating him then you'd lose to Rf1.

Well yeah of course those moves will prevent a checkmate.... But of course not had I taken a pawn with the rook.

True... But I don't know why... I feel so uncomfortable in opening up my h file all the time

Black's position is terrible

Why? The king has no problem, but ok GG
Ok guys... so I was playing a game against one of my friends on this site , a few days ago. He is rated more than a 100 points below me , but I feel it was fair because I don't generally play games that particular time control because I am slightly weak at it. Before I continue further here's the game :
As you can see I won , but that's not the point. He tried to convince me to accept a draw , and the way he approaches me is a trend I see amongst many kids .
Around move 18 : He realizes there is no way out he can win or even hold on to a draw .
He does this
After I politely rejected his offer , he tries to trick me .
Honestly this isn't the first such incident that I have encountered. And I honestly feel kids need to get rid of such habits. They are clumsy , disgusting and ridiculous.
