I've been playing chess for almost 2 years now and have never really had a study plan so I suppose you could say my study was disorganized. My main way of learning was doing tactics at chesstempo, going through chess videos and articles on various topics and playing an average of about 2 to 15 games a week, I don't play too often because dislike losing or feel pressure (so psychological reasons I guess?). I haven't really reviewed my own games much since I just think there are more efficient ways to improve but maybe I just don't get the whole idea. My question is if you were to break chess down to separate skill sets what would they all be and more importantly how would you improve on it? If you can't already tell I'm trying to organize my study to improve faster and would be very grateful for any help. Feel free to include any factors that might not be directly involved with chess as long as they are part of what makes a great chess player for example maybe tenacity.
