I like to play earlier in the day (before lunch) if I can, but that's only in the summer and on weekends. On schooldays, I like to play basically once I get home, but that's after doing something chess related first- watch a Gothamchess video, read some inspiring blogs, work through an example in whatever book I've been doing lately, whatever you like to do. I usually play when i get back home after homework and stuff. Worst time to play, probably in the middle of class when i dont have free time. Ive played many times in these situations, did not go well
