What are the best places to play OTB chess?

I live in the US.  I'm interested in finding out what you folks think are the best places to play chess over the board.  Do you have a favorite club? Or maybe just a favorite venue.

I think for most people in the U.S., it's not a matter of having a favorite club or venue for chess, but rather having a club or venue at all.

You could start your own chess club at your local library if there are no chess clubs in your area. We, myself and friends, were playing chess in a park and one of them, who had been a school teacher, talked to the librarian at a local library and asked permission to start a chess club. Permission granted! And now we play there, in the Midwood Chess Club, located in the Midwood Library, in Brooklyn.If anyone wants to join us, you are more than welcome.
